Hey, I bypassed linkt.ree and made my own news links page. Links below to my latest articles (and sometimes news). Aloha!

What do locals do in Maui? Eat poke on the beach, grab a paniolo burger and drink some local wine, get lost in the Triangle, or wander around Haʻikū! Here's a list of some of my favorite things to do in Maui, and they're all affordable.

(Sneak peek: This isn't stuff you'll find in a guidebook. Vegan tips included!)

As a freelancer working from home (and on the road) for 5 years, I've learned some great, easy hacks to be more productive at work. For instance, did you know sushi is one of the best brain-boosting snacks, or that you can overdose on caffeine (to the point of psychosis?) Check 'em out, I promise these tips will help you focus!

(Sneak peek: try out a free focus-app to help you complete projects!)

I'm happy to rep this brand, as I was using them before they asked me to. CBD helped me *a lot* with my insomnia, muscle aches, and anxiety. There are a million CBD products out there these days, but I chose Kula Hawai'i because their CBD is organic, non-GMO, nano-extracted, and sustainably harvested. Hell yeah!

As a Maui resident, I've made it one of my top priorities to find all of the best local snacks. You don't want to miss these ono grinds! All 3 Maui poke stops have fish so fresh it will literally melt in your mouth, with dressings that vary from light to creamy and plenty of local treats on the side.

(Plus, learn a little poke history and what those funky symbols over Hawaiian words mean.)

I've been told countless times how "dangerous" it is to be a woman and travel, yet I've been to 26 countries since I was 19.

I absolutely love Colombia (can't wait go back)—bet you will too if you're lucky enough to visit this warm and beautiful country.

Here are a few of my adventures.... Vive Colombia!

(sneak peek: you gotta visit Colombia one day!)

Heyo! I've been traveling around the world since I was 19, so I wrote my will pretty early... "just in case". Didn't want my family to have to deal with my junk if I died. I did some research on what a will should legally contain, and whether or not I was allowed to handwrite my own will, and I want to share the information.

(sneak peek: it's super easy, aaand... you should write yours today!)

When I was 21, I lived in Spain in the Basque or "Euskal Herria" country (a culture completely different to the Spanish), in the city of San Sebastian. It was AWESOME. I met a timelessly cool Argentinian named Franco and he taught me this delicious blue-cheese-beer-chicken recipe. If you're a blue cheese lover, you *gotta* try it!

(sneak peek: it only takes 20min and only 5 ingredients!)

I had the *hardest time* finding a pre-travel COVID test in Maui for my partner to fly to Australia... turns out it was so hard to find but so easy to do! After searching online for hours and countless time on hold, I found the easiest solution. All of the other places were completely booked/didn't offer the right test.

(sneak peek: It was Clinical Labs Hawai'i for the win! They're so awesome!)

Writing and editing are an art, and just like any financially poor (but spiritually rich) soul in the arts will tell you, making money doing what you love isn't always easy. Working with words is no different. Good news, though! I have spent the past decade perfecting my job-finding strategy, and I'm going to share the specific steps on how to find a writing or editing job online. Yeeoowwww time to work remotely while you travel!

(sneak peek: follow these steps and you should have at least 1 new writing/editing job in 2 weeks!)

Are you interested in cryptocurrency but find the whole process a bit intimidating? Join me as I take the easy road to learning the basics about cryptocurrency and blockchain in simple, non-technical language. I *promise* you will "get it" after this quick read enough to have a fun conversation with your friends at dinner, and start considering your own investment (if you're interested).

(sneak peek: I offer a few easy, real-world analogies that help to understand crypto/blockchain!)
